About Us
Where The Mobility Aids Centre Ltd Started
After leaving his engineering fabrication business, David Watling started his close-knit family business, The Mobility Aids Centre Ltd in Peterborough. Whilst the new mobility aids business flourished, David became an original founding member of The British Association of Wheelchair Distributors (BAWD). The Mobility Aids Centre’s early success even led the business to support the influential Professor, Stephen Hawking.
David’s Son, Jason Watling, also developed an interest in the mobility industry after visiting his first Naidex show when he was just 13 years old, which encouraged him to follow in his Father’s footsteps and work alongside him ever since. Due to the continued family business success, this led Jason to become a Chairman of Disability Peterborough.
Nearly 40 Years’ of Mobility Excellence
Since its early success, David and Son, Jason have continued to successfully contribute to The Mobility Aids Centre’s consistent growth year on year. This is with continuous adaptation and a diverse approach as buying habits have evolved greatly since the business first started.
Nearly 40 years on, The Mobility Aids Centre Ltd has continued its great journey supplying disabled people and their families with mobility equipment throughout the UK, enhancing the lives and day-to-day living of those who require a little extra support.

The Mobility Aids Centre Ltd has also developed by providing support beyond top-quality mobility aids. This includes providing product servicing and repairs and an assessment centre for trying out the mobility products.
